Cancellation Policies

As part of Biteline’s ongoing commitment to quality, transparency and providing a trusted platform for the dental community, we have provided our cancellation policies for both dental professionals and offices below.

Cancellation by Dental Professionals User Policy
First Cancellation: First no-show or cancellation within 48-hour window prior to the beginning of the job within a rolling 3-month period
Warning is given.
Second Cancellation: Second no-show or cancellation within 48-hour window prior to the beginning of the job or 2 complaints from Offices regarding conduct, professionalism, or services provided within a rolling 3-month period.
$25 deduction from Biteline Bonuses.
Third Cancellation: Third no-show or cancellation within 48-hour window prior to the beginning of the job or 3 complaints from Offices regarding conduct, professionalism, or services
No bonus for the month when the last no show, cancellation, or complaint occurs
Fourth Cancellation: Fourth no-show or cancellation within 48-hour window prior to the beginning of the job or 4 complaints from Offices regarding conduct, professionalism, or services provided within a rolling 3-month period.
Temporary one month suspension and no bonus for 2 months. Suspension will begin 3 working days after fourth no-show or cancellation. Jobs booked > 3 working days following no-show or cancellation will be reassigned.
Excessive Cancellations in a Calendar Month: Any calendar month in which there are more than 4 cancellations, regardless of timing.
Subject to review and possible withholding of bonus for 2 months and one month suspension.
Any discriminatory, abusive, or coercive messaging or communications related to a Biteline job (either with an Office, Professional, Employer, or Biteline Team Member)
Indefinite or permanent bar from use of the Biteline platform.
Cancellation by Offices User Policy
First cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the temporary job within a rolling 3-month period.
First warning Is given.
Second cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the temporary job within a rolling 3-month period
Secondary warning is given.
All subsequent cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the temporary job within a rolling 3-month period.
If the cancellation is within 48 hours of the beginning of the job,a $25 cancellation fee per cancellation will be charged on the credit card on file. If the cancellation is within 24 hours of the beginning of the job, Office will be subject to a minimum charge of 4 hours at the applicable hourly rate per Dental Professional. All fees will be billed to the existing payment method on file.

Biteline is evolving beyond temp staffing…

After much consideration, we have decided to discontinue our current Biteline job posting and staffing services. While we understand that this may come as a surprise, we want to assure you that we made this decision with the utmost consideration for our community and the future of Biteline. 

Key Dates

  • Platform Availability: The Biteline staffing platform will remain accessible through August 18, 2023
  • Support Availability: Please note that support for the platform will officially end on August 4, 2023.

Information for Offices

  • We will honor job fills with end dates through this 8/18.
  • Feel free to make a list of your favorite pros. Our new product will allow you to invite them to the platform.
  • All final invoices will be sent in the first week of August.

Information for Pros

  • Feel free to contact your favorite offices to continue temping. These offices may invite you to the new platform down the road.
  • Bonuses will be paid for jobs completed through July 31, 2023

What’s Next for Biteline?
