Meet Biteline’s New Calendar Feature: 5 Things You Need to Know

Here’s a quick story: Late last year, we hosted a series of focus groups with a number of smart, talented RDHs in the Charlotte area. They were great opportunities to spark conversations and connections between dental pros in our community – and also fun conversations about what RDHs want to see in technology like Biteline.

One of our biggest aha! moments was something that we know every dental pro will understand – y’all are ORGANIZED. Like, high-level-impressive-dots-the-i’s-cross-the-t’s-organized. And one of the tools you live by is your calendar.

We listened – and we did something about that. All with the hope and intent of making your lives easier and your time more organized. AND making you more open to opportunities to temp, meet new offices, and introduce the world to your skills.

We designed, built, and launched a calendar function within the Biteline app.

Here are just five of our favorite things we want you to know about it.

It’s a good resource for dental pros who work (or are interested in) temporary work.

Biteline’s new calendar function is a GREAT resource for dental pros looking for temporary jobs. Why? Because we heard you when you said that managing your calendar as a temporary worker is always going to be a nightmare. So, we made it easy for you to work temporary jobs AND manage your time right in the Biteline app without losing your mind.

It will help you to manage your time, so you can be more efficient and productive.

With this function, you can make Biteline the ONE PLACE where you can manage your availability for temporary work. How, you ask? You can select particular days you’re available to work – or you can deselect and select days you’re available (or not available) to fit your schedule. It’s a much more useful place to manage your availability which not only makes your schedule more transparent and clear for you, but also allows employers to match automatically to you if their need matches your availability.

It’s EASY

Let’s break it down for you:

  1. Log into your Biteline app
  2. Click the PROFILE tab
  3. Tap “Availability Settings”
  4. Set days of the week you’re typically available or edit directly on the calendar below
  5. Swipe left or right on the calendar to look ahead and select as many days as you’d like
  6. Manage other settings – temporary v. permanent or browse anonymously

You can plan ahead to the MAX – like, 365 days out.

Did you just book that honeymoon for a year from now? No problem. The Biteline calendar function allows you to plan and designate what days you’re available and unavailable one year out

Jobs come YOUR way – and that might mean more money!

If we need anything right now, we need one tool that’ll take the complexity out of life. Here’s how Biteline’s calendar function does that: 1) You keep everything in one place; 2) You can connect automatically with jobs based on your availability saving you the rigamarole of going back and forth to book work; 3) The office will see YOU as a match, too, which means you have jobs coming your way, which we hope – fingers crossed! – means more money in your pocket and more time in your life to do what you want to do

If you can’t already tell, we’re thrilled about the calendar function because of what it will make more possible for you. We’re excited for you to try it. Start here to give it a go.

Then, keep an eye out for more features which we’ll be adding in the next several months!
