AADOM wants you to stay calm – you’re the leader!

Last week, we introduced you to Sherry May, the Charlotte Metro Area (NC/SC) AADOM Chapter President to learn more about her experience with AADOM and why the world (or, the Charlotte metro area) needs the chapter meeting’s theme now more than ever.

ICYMI: AADOM is the the American Association of Dental Office Managers, an organization committed to helping dental office managers learn, grow, and connect.

The Charlotte Metro Area (NC/SC) AADOM Chapter is pleased to announce a special opportunity to learn and connect – their next chapter meeting on March, 9, 2021. Read all about it here. (The event’s theme? Well, we’ll give you a hint – it was the first line of this blog.)

Here are six things you need to know about the March 9 meeting.

It’s time to reconnect – and we’re doing it in-person!

Our friends at the Charlotte Metro Area (NC/SC) AADOM Chapter haven’t met since August 2020, so it’s time! AND – we’re meeting in person at Integrated Health Solutions

(222 S. Church St., Charlotte, NC 28202

They are so excited to meet and see everyone!

Just like every great event, there’s a theme.

The meeting’s theme is just what we need this year – how to stay calm and stand strong in your leadership. Why do OMs need this reminder now and what kind of support will AADOM provide? “AADOM gives dental administrators a safe space where we can connect with others in our unique positions,” says May. “We certainly feel like unicorns and tend to overlook the fact that there’s a whole herd of us!”

Be ready to take notes – and network!

Bring a notebook and pen and some business cards, too! This is all about learning something you can take back to the office and immediately put into action in your life, and networking with others you can lean on for support and encouragement anytime you need it.

There will be some special guests

Attendees will listen to a keynote speech by Anne Duffy, Editor and Publisher of De and DeW

You’ll also be able to meet our sponsors, Biteline and TechSeven, and learn how to find clinical team members quickly and easily as well as how to be technologically aware, prepared, and protected in this day and age.

We’re practicing safety and health precautions.

We’re asking everyone to observe social distance practices and stay masked during the duration of the meeting. Because of that, we will not be serving food or drinks, but you’re welcome to bring a drink with you!

The event is free for AADOM Charlotte Metro (NC/SC) Chapter members.

You read that right, there’s no fee for AADOM Charlotte Chapter members; it is $10 for AADOM (non-chapter) members;  $20 for Non-AADOM members. The fee is due prior to the event via Venmo (@charlotteaadom) or at the event via cash or Venmo.

If you should have questions regarding the meeting, please reach out to Sherry May at (803) 616-2383 or via email at charlottemetroaadom@gmail.com.

Get excited to learn more and RSVP.
